Ogo Bondhu Sundori traces a story of Lolita played by Ritabhari Chakraborty, who finds a mother in her mother-in-law. Lolita is a rich, spoilt, motherless girl who reluctantly gets married on her fathers insistence, stays in a joint family and over a period of time becomes a perfect bride under the guidance of her loving, patient & affectionate mother-in-law, Shailaja Lahiri played by Tulika Basu.

Ogo Bondhu Sundori is the third mega project for Ravi Ojha on STAR Jalsha, after the mega successful Bou Katha Kou and the extremely popular Neer Bhanga Jhor.
